Hey guys, I want to invest in life insurance. and a good savings account that I can do?

I'm in a stage of life I think ahead in case. I want to open an account with Edward Jones Investment, heard good things, but I also want to see how ING operates and I heard the Met Life is ideal for life ins. it is not necessary at all or can get it all in one place? by the way I want to invest in mutual funds (Ameritrade) Thanks sorry.
