Ameritrade Custodial Account

Minimum Age – TD Ameritrade?

I’m going to be eighteen in the coming weeks and, after some browsing, would like to open an individual trading account with TD Ameritrade. I assume you must be 18, though I have yet to see this on TD Ameritrade’s website. Should I just wait a few more weeks (I’m impatient and anxious), or would I be able to join at this time–WITHOUT having to go with a custodial account?

Thank you.

18 is the min age. I would wait a few weeks paper work is a pain in the butt.
