Multiple IRA accounts?

I have a ROTH IRA account with my bank. I don’t want to continue using them and want to switch to another service (i.e. TD Ameritrade) because of a better fee schedule. However, for now, I’d like to leave my current IRA account with my banks. Can I open a new account with Ameritrade, fund it, and at the same time have my other account open?
