Etrade Direct Deposit
best company to go through for IRA /mutual funds?
I am 25 and would like to start investing i have been looking in to it for a few months now and would like to start an IRA the one that i put taxed money in to now and take it out tax free in about 40 yrs
along with a mutual fund account were i would be taking the money out in like 10-15 yrs
I do not have a huge lump some to open an account but a lot of these companys let you do automatic monthly direct deposit type stuff
in total i would like to start SMALL at 100 a month some months i would send more but 12 month goal is at least 1200 in to 2 accounts as i get older i would put more in
i am thinking about going through t rowe price what do you think of them
are there better companys out there i.e. etrade,share builder,that schwab dude
who is good who has good funds?
should i keep both ira and mutual with in the same company or do one through troweprice.com and the other through lets say etrade?

You are going to be with these people for a long time…so, make it a point to go with the ” best of breed”. Fidelity is always near the top in customer saisfaction, they have thousands of funds available with no ” transaction fees”, ( some of those are their own, but funds from most other families are available that way), when you get beyond funds you can trade stocks or ETFs in your IRA.. The IRA that YOU describe is a ROTH IRA…and it IS the best idea every developed for the American taxpayer. ( Put your own money away, in your own account, to take care of your future: BRILLIANT!)
Fidelity has all the info and research tools you will need , and reps on the phone lines ( real people! ) can answer your questions, help with trades or the web-site…or send you any additional info you need. They are considered ” retirement specialists”.

You can start a small account in many funds ( if it’s an IRA), but if it’s a non-IRA account you may have to start with ETFs…
there is not much overall difference…just get started.
