Etrade Financial Services

Best way for beginner to buy stocks?

Hey, I have traded stocks online using fake money (investopedia) for quite some time now and even through the financial crisis I have earned 12% gains so I figured it was time to test my skills (luck) in the real world. However, there seem to be so many ways to trade such as ameritrade, etrade, fidelity, scottrade, etc… and I have no idea which one to choose! I DO NOT need to call a broker for advice, all I want ideally is an internet site that is cheap, has cheap trades and allows me to take care of everything online. Also, I want low fees, seeing as I am not going to be using any services except trading through the site.

Thanks!

for a beginner, i believe you need alot of practice. and the one offer the most free trades is best for you to practice in the market. Personally, I think sogotrade is best among all online brokerages. You can get a lot of free trades: about 100 free trades with 500 minimum deposits. It has very good customer services, it also has live help, and you can chat with representatives about any question. After that, only 3 dollar for each trade, pretty sweet when compared with other online brokerages.
