New to mutual funds are recommended …?

I'm eager to get into mutual funds and started with ETrade. I want of funds of 5-10 years with average risk and return hgh any sugestions? How do I find what I'm looking for. Is there really a good iPhone apps for this? All symbols should I look? 10 points to most helpful answer!

I recommend you start with ETFs. (Exchange Traded Funds). These are actually mutual funds that can be redeemed any mutual fund other. ETFs have a lot of management costs lover (less than 1% most of them about 0.25% per year). Management fees are internal to the body. If you go there you can get a list of all ETFs available today. (About 800). Now you can select the ones you like to filter the list by various parameters -.
