I live in nyc should i get a broker or i see these commercials about scottrade and etrade ect what exaxtly are those and is it reliable
You need to open a trading account with a broker to buy stocks.
Scottrade and etrade are online brokers. More people seem to be happy with Scottrade because of their low brokerage fee of $7/trade.
