Does anybody know how I can get a position on a trading desk?

Does anybody know how I can get a position on a trading desk? I am interested in becoming a trader on the New York Stock Exchange but I do not know how to go about applying or whatr qualifications are even necessary.

Im in the same boat as you… im will have my degree in finance in 1.5 years and then will hopefully get a job where i can trade stocks on the NYSE>>>
