Iphone Etrade
I would like to know about a good stock brokerage to use online?
I would like to know of a good stock brokerage to use online? TDAmeritrade, Etrade or what? I use my IPhone also and these have good apps. Which one has a decent commission? Is there another one that you would suggest over these? Please help with your opinions. Thanks.
After a bit of research, I settled on TD Ameritrade. They’re all roughly the same and it’s all about service. TD also has a good iPhone app that i use regularly (mind you, I just use it to check the portfolio; haven’t traded with the app yet). TD is also good on customer service as I’ve called with questions a few times (even stupid questions). The deal maker for me was that when I signed up I got 30 days of free trades; this was great because I didn’t have a whole lot of cash to invest and spending 150 bucks on roughly 15 trades to build the portfolio was to me prohibitive. Anyway, TD is pretty straight forward. My only regret is that I didn’t put more money into it! My portfolio is about 17% since May (although I’m ready to take some profits as approach October).
