What’s a good beginners guide to the stock market and day trading?

I’m 25 and I don’t have much money but I would like to start learning about the basics of the stock market and maybe invest in some penny stocks. I tried the “Trading for Dummies” book but unfortunately it wasn’t dumb enough for me (the book basically assumes you know the basics which defeats the purpose of a ‘Dummies’ book)
