Online Banking Buy / Sell Order Execution Times?

I'd like to hear from people with experience with one trading companies as major online Ameritrade, ETrade, Scottrade, etc. In your experience, how long it has generally taken from the company you use to execute orders to buy and sell shares? I ask because I heard other people describe problems when their orders were not filled promptly, possibly for the benefit of others, by delaying their order. I would like opinions business e-commerce is considered the most reliable execution of orders in a timely manner, and that the average time was. It is very easy to lose a substantial amount of money when you buy / sell orders are late, so I am trying to determine which company has always been the most reliable. Thank you in advance for using stock gurus all you out there.

I use Fidelity and TD Ameritrade. They filled almost instantly for me, even when using limit orders on the market. I use limit orders to avoid surprises. When I say almost immediately I mean within 10 seconds. I've never had a problem at all, and I am very pleased to time.
