Have very nice 67 Buick special 4Dr slick and strait has 310wild cat motor factory pwr glide trans?

i really never heard of a 310 wild cat motor before but thats what it says on the air cleaner top,the problem i’m having is the car has been parked for a number of years and before that i drove it every place and it ran fine, now after refueling and clean filters and plugs it ran good for maybe 1 hour then started pinging and labor knocking seams to be because of the no lead gas but i’m not sure, i really don’t wish to add little bottles of stuff every time i drive to help the no lead gas problem, and don’t like the newer electronic controled motors so a engine trade is not in the picture, the car has 28000 miles and rides like a dream, what could be done to make the car run the way it needs to and be able to make long trips like 2000 miles without problems about the new gas, their are many classic cars running around and i don’t think they all have newer running gear setups, please give me some help to make my ride run good again, thanks and have a good day.

you may still have some old bad gas in the system, did you drain all the old out? try flushing it again.

You can set the timing back to 0 degrees BTDC and if it still pings, you’ll have to run some octane booster or maybe a water/alcohol injector. Try to get it to run at 5 or 6 degrees and run a 160 degree thermostat. :)

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Singapore in the Straits Settlements refers to a period in the history of Singapore from 1826 to 1942, during which Singapore was part of the Straits Settlements together with Penang and Malacca. From 1830 to 1867 the Straits Settlements was a residency, or subdivision, of the Presidency of Bengal, in British India. In 1867, the Straits Settlements became a separate Crown colony, directly overseen by the Colonial Office in London. The period saw Singapore establish itself as an important trading port and developed into a major city with rapid increase in population. British rule was suspended in February 1942, when the Imperial Japanese Army invaded Singapore during World War II. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Timpledon, Miriam T./ Marseken, Susan F. Written in the nineteenth century, rediscovered in the twenty-first, timeless in its wisdom and beauty, Hours of Devotion by Fanny Neuda, (the daughter of a Moravian rabbi), was the first full-length book of Jewish prayers written by a woman for women. In her moving introduction to this volume–the first edition of Neuda’s prayer book to appear in English for more than a century–editor Dinah Berland describes her serendipitous discovery of Hours of Devotion in a Los Angeles used bookstore. She had been estranged from her son for eleven years, and the prayers she found in the book provided immediate comfort, giving her the feeling that someone understood both her pain and her hope. Eventually, these prayers would also lead her back to Jewish study and toward a deeper practice of her Judaism. Originally published in German, Fanny Neuda’s popular prayer book was reprinted more than two dozen times in German and appeared in Yiddish and English editions between 1855 and 1918. Working with a translator, Berland has carefully brought the prayers into modern English and set them into verse to fully realize their poetry. Many of these eighty-eight prayers, as well as Neuda’s own preface and afterword, appear here in English for the first time, opening a window to a Jewish woman’s life in Central Europe during the Enlightenment. Reading “A Daughter’s Prayer for Her Parents,” “On the Approach of Childbirth,” “For a Mother Whose Child Is Abroad,” and the other prayers for both daily and momentous occasions, one cannot help but feel connected to the women who’ve come before. For Berland, Hours of Devotion served as a guide and a testament to the mystery and power of prayer. Fanny Neuda’s remarkable spirit and faith in God, displayed throughout these heartfelt prayers, now offer the same hope of guidance to others.

Called by some a Mediterranean Jutland, the Battle of the Otranto Straits involved warships from Austria, Germany, Italy, Britain, and France. Although fought by light units with no dreadnoughts involved, Otranto was a battle in three dimensions — engaging surface vessels, aircraft, and subsurface weapons (both submarines and mines). An attempt to halt the movement of submarines into the Adriatic using British drifters armed with nets and mines led to a raid by Austrian light cruisers. The Austrians inflicted heavy damage on the drifters, but Allied naval forces based at Brindisi cut off their withdrawal. The daylight hours saw a running battle, with the Austrians at considerable risk. Heavier Austrian units put out from Cattaro in support, and at the climactic moment the Allied light forces had to turn away, permitting the Austrians to escape. In the end, the Austrians had inflicted more damage than they suffered themselves. The Otranto action shows the difficulties of waging coalition warfare in which diplomatic and national jealousies override military efficiency.

Michael Cunningham`s critically acclaimed novel, which is inspired by Virginia Woolf`s MRS. DALLOWAY, tells three simultaneous stories. One is about Virginia Woolf while she is writing the novel in the mid-1920s. In another, a woman reading MRS. DALLOWAY in 1949 fights off despair. In the third, a woman named Clarissa (whose nickname is "Mrs. Dalloway") prepares a party for a friend in the late 1990s. The main action of each part of the novel takes place over the course of one day–as MRS. DALLOWAY does. A New York Times Notable Book for 1998.
