Td Ameritrade Trading Fees

im in the UK should I use TD Ameritrade??

Basically I want to open an account for trading in the stock market, in small amounts. and I was wondering which company to go online. It SELFTRADE between a British trading costs £ 12.50. or society TD Ameritrade with only U.S. $ 9.99 trading fee and trades 30 days free + $ 100 deal. will charge more for stocks TDameritrade FTSE?? and would it be better to stick to a British company, so I will be able to put money into the account? thanks
