Trading Director Job Description

A Telecom Project Manager / Engineer Available?

Does anyone know a manager of a telecom firm (service provider or equipment maker) that is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Engineer in the Dallas area?

I found you have a much better chance of getting your foot in the door if you get your resume directly to the hiring manager, rather than sending it through HR cold.

I have over 10 years experience in the field and in a lab environment. Can perform testing and installations, also support sales, marketing team, and trade shows.

I have manage projects in a 9 state area for carriers such as Verizon, Sprint, MCI, Bellsouth, and SBC to name a few.

I have done network design and maintenace work for MCI’s optical back bone network.

And much much more……….

Should you know of a manager or director please forward his/her email with job description if possible.

Thanks

Sounds like you need to do some networking.

1) mine your contacts. If you have been in the industry for 10 years, you probably know a lot of people.
There are some neat online tools that might help you out. LinkedIn is one that I recently been introduced to. www.linkedin.com
Might be interesting for you, might not.

2) make sure that your skills and interviewing are up to the standards that these hiring folks are looking for. If people are looking for experience in particular areas, highlight your relevant experience.

3) try going through a contract or placement firm. Good way to get a short-term contract that might get your foot in the door for future placements if you do a good job.

Hope that helps
