Trading Ideas 2009

my idea for the warriors 2009 2010?

here is wat i think warriors shuld do to solve their point guard issues and making the playoffs 2010..

warriors shuld get baron bak. he’s 11 million and corey is 8 million.. wats the difference and baron is more expierenced with his pg skills.TRADE!!! everyone is critizing him that he wont be a factor with the warriors.. thats becuase DUMBleavy lol. was not giving them fastbreaks witch baron does better in.. baron isnt old.. just 30 and he has 4 years more just look at fisher in the finals with orlando.. hes raw.. avg 8 point and making the team better.. all we need next is to draft a rookie pg. like bjennings, curry, or johnny flynn..

i projected the starting lineups/reserves.
PG baron davis
SG monta ellis
SF stephen jackon
PF anthony randolph
C andris biedrins

reserves

PG brandon jennings/ watson
SG anthony morrow
SF kelenna azubuike
PF brendan wright
C turiaf

I’d be fine with a Maggette/Davis trade, although I don’t really see it happening. It would require management to recognize they made a mistake and swallowing their pride. Both of them are injury prone and close to the same age. Maggette doesn’t fit their offense and is being paid way too much to be a sixth man. Baron has struggled in Dunleavy’s system, but would probably be rejuvenated playing for Nellie. Davis is at his best when he is given freedom to take bad shots and get out on the break. Davis will jack up a lot of ill-advised shots, but he hits them when it matters and is a leader on the floor. His contract is huge, but I’ll take it if we can dump Maggette.

I would be fine if the W’s took Jennings, although Holiday might be the better fit. He’s a little longer and plays solid D. Two thing the W’s need out a PG. Another route might be taking Hill if he falls to 7. He’s a big body that can run the floor. I don’t think the W’s have a second rd pick, but if they can trade for a pick and grab a guy like Collison or Patty Mills in the second rd, that might be a decent option.

I just hope Nellie doesn’t fall in love with another SG/SF like Williams or Derozan. We already have way too many of them, and I can seriously see Nellie adding to his collection.
