Trading Mom Wikipedia
The Art Of Ecommerce Survival
The web is a new frontier. To succeed, you must constantly think ‘out of the box’ using creativity and ingenuity over the tried and true. There are hundreds of university drop out and work at home moms who took advantage of the web and their freedom to become innovators. Time and again the little guy has come up from behind, breaking all the rules, and devastated the big companies. Even companies like IBM, Compaq, and others have felt the pinch.
At one time a small advertising agency tried something new on the net. They made changes to how people surfed the web, and how people advertised. You now know that company as Google.
At one time innovation was about the well-schooled making changes to the old-school rules. People with masters from Ivy League universities brainstormed in luxury offices, developing new trends and ideas with the backing of big corporations.
Dell
Dell took ecommerce to new levels changing how people purchased computers and office electronics, an amazing feat for someone with one year of college education. “Dell remade the PC industry in his image and likeness,” says University of California at San Diego assistant professor Gary Fields. “He defined the terms of competition.” By 1993 IBM and Compaq revamped their business models to make them more compatible with Dell.
One thing that made Dell owner, Michael S. Dell, did in 1984 that made him different from others – he sought out mentors when he was started and acted on the advice they gave him.
Ebay
An auction site grew into a company and banking system so large they now have assets exceeding some countries.
“The very first item sold on eBay was a broken laser pointer for $14.83. Astonished, Omidyar contacted the winning bidder and asked if he understood that the laser pointer was broken. In his responding email, the buyer explained: “I’m a collector of broken laser pointers.”[4] The frequently repeated story that eBay was founded to help Omidyar’s fiancée trade PEZ Candy dispensers was fabricated by a public relations manager in 1997 to interest the media. This was revealed in Adam Cohen’s 2002 book[3] and confirmed by eBay.” Wikipedia
Like the owner of Dell, Ebay’s founder thought out of the box. If you asked Ivy league graduates if starting a business that sold broken and weird items would fly, you’d be laughed out of the room, and probably be the butt of the introduction joke at their next conference.
But, this is how the net is growing. For many, it is the new West. A Frontier waiting to be discovered, like America was for so many 200 years ago, and like 200 years ago, using the old methods from the old schools did not work. Most of the discoveries in the new world were made by people with no formal education, no money, and no prospects. All they possessed was an idea and determination.
Today’s internet offers the same opportunities. However, unlike 200 years ago, people are yelling ‘scam’ instead of ‘opportunity.’ This makes it difficult to make your mark. So, next time someone opens a door, think of Dell, think of IBM. Don’t be so quick to slam it. There are scams. There are con artists. But, in the end there are mentors and opportunities available for people who can think out of the box.

Wrongful Trading $92.4 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Wrongful trading is a type of civil wrong found in UK insolvency law, under s 214 Insolvency Act 1986. It was introduced to enable contributions to be obtained for the benefit of creditors from those responsible for mismanagement of the insolvent company. The principle of wrongful trading was introduced in the Insolvency Act 1986, to complement the concept of fraudulent trading. Unlike fraudulent trading, wrongful trading needs no finding of intent to defraud (which requires a heavy burden of proof). Wrongful trading is therefore a less serious, and more common offence than fraudulent trading. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. ShortTerm Trading $105.14 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Shortterm trading refers to those trading strategies in stock market or futures market in which the time duration between entry and exit is within a range of few days to few weeks. There are two main school of thoughts: day trading and trend following. In finance, a trading strategy (see also trading system) is a predefined set of rules for making trading decisions. Traders, investment firms and fund managers use a trading strategy to help make wiser investment decisions and help eliminate the emotional aspect of trading. A trading strategy is governed by a set of rules that do not deviate. Emotional bias is eliminated because the systems operate within the parameters known by the trader. The parameters can be trusted based on historical analysis (backtesting) and real world market studies (forward testing), so that the trader can have confidence in the strategy and its operating characteristics.
