Questions regarding legal issues in selling homemade candy…?

My family is interested in making candy and selling it by word of mouth and maybe a local trade show. My question is, will we be required to obtain a business license or anything else in regards to the FDA before we can legally sell the candy? I have looked very hard over the last few weeks and find a lot of conflicting information regarding this matter. Also, would we be required to post nutritional information/ingredients on all the candy we sell? I’m not sure if it makes a difference, but we are located in Ohio.
