Western Trading Cards

Wondering value of a few things, any info would be greatly appreciated. I don’t even know where to start..

1- The voice of President John F. Kennedy, A MEMORIAL RECORD by Golden its a 45rpm & cost .29cents.# FF-766A apprx. 1961
2- Fifty cent bank note from the Western & Atlantic R.R. for August 1, 1862 original
3- marvel comics 1973 & up
4- DC comics 1974 & up
5- some signed trading cards football, basketball
Thanks to anyone who knows any info..I did look on Ebay a little.. Thanks
I also have a captain marvel- Battles the invaders from outer space..Vol-1 #65 1946-Fawcett Pub.

You lumped too many questions under one heading that is why no one bothered to answer. Fortunately, I am willing to help you out.

1) There doesn’t seem to be much demand for the JFK Memorial Record these days ($5-$12 each…mint conditions get more, of course).

2) I have no real idea how much this costs though I did collect banknotes for some time. My price guide here lists only those items that came out in the last 50 years, sorry.

3) You did not specify what Marvel comics you have, the issue numbers and condition for each of them. Unless it’s a key issue or from such popular titles like Amazing Spider-Man and Uncanny X-Men, I’m afraid the market price is just about 20 to 40 times that of the original price of the comic.

4) The same is true about DC Comics of that era, but merely 10 to 20 times of its cover price (Batman and some issues of Superman will fetch more, but not much). You should have specified what issues you have so we can give you a more accurate figure of their value.

5) Again, what kind? Which company made the cards? Who are the stars? Rookie cards ought to cost a lot especially if it’s that of a superstar. Autographed cards will have more value if it came with a certificate of authenticity. Otherwise, some buyers might think you only faked the signatures.

I tried looking for that particular Captain Marvel issue but came up with nothing. Your best bet then is to buy the OVERSTREET Comic Price Guide since you have a couple of old comics you want to know the value of. I would advise the same for the sports trading cards. Buy a BECKETT Price Guide.

Good luck on selling them!

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern baseball cards, or 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches (63 mm X 89 mm), small enough to fit inside standard cardcollector pockets, sleeves or sheets. The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland. Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.). The cards are usually traded or exchanged rather than sold. M. Vanci Stirnemann is credited in many circles with popularizing the modern artist trading card in 1996, holding trading sessions in Zurich, Switzerland. This resurgence of interest of Artists trading cards has spawned the popular ACEO (art cards editions and originals) movement. Many people consider art trading cards and ACEO cards to be one and the same. Others feel they are decidedly different pieces of Author: Miller, Frederic P./ Vandome, Agnes F./ McBrewster, John Binding Type: Paperback Number of Pages: 128 Publication Date: 2010/09/07 Language: English Dimensions: 6.00 x 9.02 x 0.30 inches
